Responsibilities and Duties: Show up on time everyday prepared to work outdoors all day in any condition. Complete all assigned work when scheduled, within budget, and to customer's satisfaction. Complete assigned service concerns when scheduled. Communicate with, coordinate with, and manage assigned Landscape Laborer(s). Clock self in/out daily & accurately. Attend weekly crew meetings. Keep trailer/equipment clean and organized. Put out door hangers when requested. Proactively notify mechanic/production manager of equipment needing repairs. Follow and abide by state laws and rules governing pesticide applications. Qualifications and Skills: Strong organizational skills. Positive attitude. Willingness to learn & adapt. Effective time management, ability to prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. Ability to problem solve without asking questions. Ability to follow directions. Must have own reliable transportation. Ability to correctly identify common perennial flowers, shrubs, trees, and weeds. Knowledge of and the ability to operate power equipment such as hedge trimmers, aerators, seeders, spreaders, weed whackers, and various other pieces of landscape equipment Required experience: Familiarity with lawn care and fertilization: 1 year Required license or certification: Drivers License A pesticide license is NOT required to start, but it is a plus if you have one. Future licensing is a MUST.
