We are searching for full time Lawn Care Apprentice to work from March 15 - Dec 15, understanding of how to operate a spreader, identify weeds & insects, safely use pesticides. This job is physical labor position and may require you to work hard at times and/or require you to work outside in all weather conditions including rain, cold, or heat. Responsibilities and Duties: Show up on time everyday prepared to work outdoors all day in any condition. Complete all assigned work when scheduled, within budget, and to customer's satisfaction. Keep trailer/equipment clean and organized. Put out door hangers when requested. Proactively notify mechanic/production manager of equipment needing repairs. Follow and abide by state laws and rules governing pesticide applications. Qualifications and Skills: Strong organizational skills. Positive attitude. Willingness to learn & adapt. Effective time management, ability to prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. Ability to problem solve without asking questions. Ability to follow directions. Must have own reliable transportation. Knowledge of and the ability to operate power equipment such as hedge trimmers, aerators, seeders, spreaders, weed whackers, and various other pieces of landscape equipment Required experience: Familiarity with lawn care and fertilization: 1 year Required license or certification: Drivers License A pesticide license is NOT required to start, but it is a plus if you have one.
