Plumbing Mechanic Sussex County, DE Full-time Full-time Plumbing Mechanic - Residential New Construction Reports To: The Plumbing Mechanic will report to the Plumbing Supervisor of the respective Division of Chesapeake Plumbing & Heating, Inc. Job Overview: The Plumbing Mechanic will work apart of the new construction division to construct and install residential plumbing systems. Qualified applicants must meet the following requirements: Must have Delaware Pesticide License or receive pesticide license within 6 months of hire. Preferred: Hands-on experience in the landscaping or horticulture industry. Required Education: High School Diploma. Responsibilities: Responsible for properly mixing and applying chemicals while maintaining accurate chemical records and licensing. Treat specific insect, weed, turf disease, and nutritional deficiencies by application of the appropriate product. Maintain power spray equipment within safe, clean, and mechanical conditions. Maintain accurate records of chemical usage per all federal, state, and local laws, and rules. and regulations. Use good judgment in the application of chemicals (weather conditions, public exposure, and environmental considerations). Abide by all safety procedures. Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor. Be able to read and interpret.
