Who You Are: As a Mechanic, youwill perform preventative maintenance, diagnosis, service andrepair of steering, suspension, brakes, engines, transmissions,differentials, electrical, wheelchair lifts, and air conditioningsystems. Successful applicants must be able to work safely, performpart analysis on damaged parts and assist in inventory control orother duties, as necessary. Delagatework and train as directed. Demonstrate a team philosophy. Performscheduled preventative maintenance of vehicles Execute major andminor repairs of defective components. Document all activities inMV's Fleet Management System. Maintain work environment in anorganized and safe condition. Qualifications: Talent Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent. Combination of at least five (5)years of apprentice level verifiable training and experience inautomotive or diesel mechanics, which may include high schoolmechanics courses and/or a regional occupational program. Must beable to pass a pre-employment drug screen and random drug testing.Must obtain Class B License within 90 days of hire; paid trainingprovided.
