Employment type: full-time. Garik Automotive Equipment installs Automotive Lifts, Lubrication Equipment, and Air Compressors throughout the tri-state area. Must have some experience with plumbing-threading pipe, forklift experience a plus, must be able to handle heights and follow directions, be successful, we are one of the premier go to installation-sales company's in the tri-state area who does not make it a habit to have a revolving door constantly changing employees, we are more concerned about the quality of the work and the people we hire than volume, we are looking to hire a well rounded customer friendly person who is willing to learn a trade for long term employment, all training is provided but you must have the will to learn and make it to work on time! Must have a valid drivers license and a common knowledge of tools, you will meet each morning in Lakewood NJ and then travel to the jobs in a company vehicle, our 40yr old company specializes in the sales and installation of Automotive Shop Equipment such as hydraulic auto lifts-air compressors-lubrication systems, throughout the state of NJ. for some of the largest dealer groups in the tr-state area. If you are looking for a change with a job that includes advancement and on the job training such as installation of all the equipment we install then this could be the change you are looking for, if you are tired of the daily grind and just looking for a change this could be it, but you must have the desire to lead from the front. 1) Valid, clean NJ driver's license required. 2) Must be able to pass or have a DOT physical for vehicles under 26,000lbs. (REQUIRED) 3) Attention to detail and follow instructions. 4) Maintain a neat and clean appearance. 5) Have the capability to process and multitask an array of subject matter, strong technical background 6) Basic math required. (REQUIRED) 7) High School Or GED Diploma Required. 8) Able to work on your feet for 8 hrs. 9) Able to work without fear of heights up to 17' 10) Pipe installation, general knowledge of threading and hanging pipe a plus. 11) Must be drug and alcohol free. 12) Must be able to make it to work every day and on time, we currently start at 6:30 AM and work 5 days a week, with optional OT available. 13) Be motivated and extend that to the crew. 14) Must be able to pass a background check. 15) Must be flexible with your hours. 16) Must obtain or have an OSHA 10 safety course. Compensation will be determined by how much experience you have, health insurance is offered, and benefits after 90 90-day trial period.
