Utilize hand tools and power tools safely to perform tasks related to auto body work and metal fabrication. Participate in vehicle maintenance activities, including auto painting, auto glass replacement, and detailing. Assist with auto estimating processes by documenting damage and repair needs accurately. Help with heavy lifting and material handling to ensure efficient workflow on the shop floor. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; previous dealership or automotive shop experience is a plus. Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with automotive repair processes preferred. Experience with hand tools, power tools, welding (including MIG welding), and sheet metal work is advantageous. Strong interest in auto body repair, auto painting, auto restoration, and fabrication techniques. Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety protocols diligently. Excellent customer service skills are a bonus for interacting professionally with clients.
